Elodie Kyra, 14, is the daughter of Ellie Belly author Eliza Teoh. In fact, she is the real-life Ellie Belly and the inspiration for her mother’s books. She started her writing journey by writing the diary stories in the Ellie Belly books. As the co-author of Ellie Belly #8: Otter Out of Water, Elodie was nominated for Popular Bookstore’s Readers Choice Awards 2018. As quirky in real-life as she is as a storybook character, Elodie decided to write her own books. Her Young Adult trilogy starts with Rage, which documents strange happenings in a school for the gifted – students seem to be becoming brainwashed and it is up to the protagonist to find out why.
