Abacus
An abacus is an ancient counting tool that consists of a frame with beads on rods, used for performing calculations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. While it has been largely replaced by electronic calculators, it is still used today for low-tech computations, as a teaching tool, and by the visually impaired. Experienced users can sometimes perform calculations on an abacus faster than on an electronic calculator.
